This 1960’s weather board house was about to have a new life as  doctors consulting rooms. Existing trees in good health were retained and incorporated into the new garden design. The clients request was for a natural looking, easy care garden with a place to sit. The client loved Australian natives so with a plant palette of native grasses, Banksia, kangaroo paws and gums just to name a few were planted in drifts to achieve a natural feel.

In time Native Hardenbergia violacea will grow up the predominant louvered screen at the front of the house. The timber seat was made using a large piece of recycled timber found in the back yard of the property.
